It is that project you had been working on secretly at night and now it looks like millions.

Before I started teaching accounting software and financial management to people, I looked down on the idea of using my voice. Who would listen? I'm not a billionaire yet! Oh how wrong I was.

My journey through loan repayment, side hustles and quitting 9-5 life was someone's dream. Now I wish I had started a long time ago. I wish I had not given ears to doubt and doubters.

I have gotten a Job before with the help of an online headhunter. She works from home most days except when meeting with new clients or for strategy sessions. I wasn't the only one she got a job for that month I got hired!

Do you have access to business owners? Can you help them source for staff? Maybe you have an uncle that owns a trucking company who would definitely be in need of drivers, loaders, etc. You can walk up to him and let him know you can get people for him for a fee. Then you go online and read up on how to interview truck drivers. Paste ads locally, tell your neighbours to tell other people. Word of mouth would be your friend here. Are you liking this?

You can make between 2 million naira to 4 million naira a year doing this.

Reseller Of Other People's Products

A while back this looked like an impossible thing to me. Then a friend had some salon equipment to sell and asked me if I was interested in reselling. I said yes out of love and nothing more. Little did I know that I was opening up a money channel for myself.

Yours doesn't have to be salon equipment. It could be food, books, clothes, bags, household items, etc.

Another idea to coin out of this is white labeling. This is when a manufacturer of a product gives it to you to resell without their own logo. That way you get to brand the product in your own logo.

Delivering Of Items

I don't care what anyone says about this one but let me tell you for free that this is a gold mine. You can start this on your own and scale it up by recruiting others to help you.

This is what you'd do. Take a pen and a note book. Write down the names and phone numbers of 20 or more people you know who work and make quite the money. Start texting or calling them that you can help them deliver items for a fee. Ask if they'd be interested to give you a try this week. One to five people will want this service. Why? Who doesn't need the help of moving items without having to go themselves? Make sure to know the location areas you will be delivering to. You can use Google to browse about the area and google map to navigate when performing the job.

You can rake in 8 hundred thousand naira to 1 million naira every month with this. Don't say Anu didn't tell you about it!

Managing Different Tasks for Businesses (Virtual Assistant)

Now, this one I have done. I charged per task due to the kind of work that I got. I did a lot for one Hotel Business Owner. So I charged by the task. For example sourcing for vendors was at 5,000 naira per vendor. I already had a list of vendors for hotels so it made it easy to take from my portfolio. Another example is charging 10,000 to 50,000 naira for writing a 200 word newsletter to tenants of a serviced apartment.

Some of the work you will do will be more corporate like attending to a CEO's emails, scheduling meetings and flights, negotiating a real estate deal... Oh yes! So you will have to research on what the rate is for these kind of services per hour, task, month or milestone. You can pocket 500 thousand naira to 2 million naira with this every month. I am hoping you take it on and then grow the business by employing others to free you up.

Investing

No matter what you decide to do in life, you must invest. It comes with the territory of wealth. It's a simple principle actually. Take a percentage of what you earn and put it in a plan that will grow your money. The good thing now is that in Nigeria you can invest with as little as 5,000 naira. You have stocks you can buy using RISEVEST. You have high yield interest account you can put your money in using PIGGYVEST. You have farm crops that will grow your money using HERVEST and AFRINVEST.

How about it?! This is one thing you won't regret doing because it will make you more money while you sleep. Depending on how much you invest, you can expect triple.

Closing Deals Online

To be able to pick up the phone and talk about a product or service like it's heaven's gift to someone and convince them to buy from you is a skill worth millions. There are a lot of business owners that can't do this. They hire others with this breathtaking skill to help them win a negotiation, sell a property, get a multi-million naira contract...A.K.A close the deal.

Most deal closers are paid on commission. So if I am to close a deal worth 40 million naira. I could charge the client 5% as my commission for that. That is 2 million naira. Not bad.

Here is a catch. Closing Deals has a lot to do with the other party being confident to buy from you. So work on that.

There are some deal closing that will be less or higher. The important thing is to know what you are doing and research about the client and deal thoroughly before setting out to perform.
